 Reminiscing on porch, just talked to one of my last cousins, just fought throat cancer, big Cigar smoker, now he found out he has lung cancer. Told him come see me I'll buy you the most expensive cigar and we will have a smoke-out.

Excellent idea!...There is absolutely nothing (at my age) that I would give up. I enjoy smoking my pipes too much to stop regardless of the situation...and my Dr. tells me that I can live another 30 years...now that is scary!

Buddy is growing quick!
Reminds me of my grandpa. Once he hit 70 and was diagnosed with all sorts of issues his dr. Told him he needed to quit smoking. He told the dr. that at that point in his life with the issues he had, it wasnt going to hurt anything else.
A few months later he attempted to light a cigarette, forgetting he had his oxygen hose in his nose, and almost set the whole kitchen on fire.

When you get old...er you have a tendency to not pay attention to what you are doing. ... I have to pay attention carefully when I am around gasoline with my pipe. Buddy is looking great...healthy looking boy. |
