We are renting a condo in N Myrtle for January. I see Low Country Pipe and Cigar is just moments away. Are there any other gems in this area we could check out? The Mrs. likes a good cigar, and we don’t mind a bit of a drive. If anyone wants a meet up for a pipe, or two, we’re in!
BTW, if anyone has an idea for a small (I hate to say petite because that would be too small) pipe for a lady. I would like her to try pipe smoking. She loves those little “ritual” things like fixing her coffee just right. A cob won’t do. She doesn’t mind getting down and dirty doing yard work, or gardening, but she likes to be a bit more elegant when relaxing.

How would she feel with a church warden? Some of them can be slightly more dainty and have a smaller bowl.

Good idea there, I have two, but one is a cob, and the other is large. I really like Scottie Piersel’s pipes, but a bit pricey for some one not committed.

EWA pipes have a line called "Lady" that I believe are smaller and cheap. I have an EWA pipe (I forget from what series) but it smokes well and cost me less than $50. Just an idea. www.tobaccopipes.com/ewa-lady/

The Ropp Vintage Briars are usually quite small and are excellent smokers.

Well...Low Country Pipes and Cigars is part of Smokingpipes... not sure if they share the same real estate, but they have a huge collection of new and estates for your wife to choose from, and a great staff to boot.

My in-laws have property in North Myrtle. We spend a week or so there every summer.
Set aside some time for Low Country. Stop in and smoke a bowl or two. Good people. You can sample all you want for .25 a bowl, sit in some nice leather chairs and enjoy some conversation. I look forward to going back.

Look for Nick's Cigar World in north Myrtle Beach. I think they have two locations. Good place for your cigar hunger.

Here is Mrs. Flyby with the pipe kbareit sent her for free! Once again, the BP is a great place. It is a Hecla, and she decided on Scotty’s Butternut (thank you pepesdad1). I think it is the perfect size for her.

Can't blame you for getting out of Ohio for a while. It was 60 here yesterday with a tornado north of me and today it was 28 with snow. Sucked working up on a roof today but gotta make a living somehow.

ShowMeState1977 Call over to Low Country a few days in advance and they (usually) can set you up with a tour of the C&D / Smoking Pipes facilities which are just down the road - Great bunch of folks and well worth doing.
