I have no idea what my gift was. It's a joke with my family as I justify every pipe I buy as a future Christmas, Father's Day or Birthday gift. Since I've bought more pipes than there are Holidays this years gift might have been bought 14 years ago.

As you know...because I've talked about til death do me part...Ron of RdPipes sent me one of his precious creations...at least that is how I look at it. Might be the best Christmas I've ever had. Sorry for so many pictures....but I'm in love with this pipe!!! Truly, a great Christmas, for me!!

Merry Christmas everyone. I see some great looking pipes. Many happy smokes to all. I donβt want to sound like Iβm beating a dead horse, but I was blown away with my Secret Santaβs generosity. This beautiful pipe was made by Cramptholomew . . . Here it is, again: It smokes great too.

Nice gifts all. I got a shirt, a new hoodie, a terrible headache, a tooth ache, and a happy family. The last part of that makes it all worth while.
Pipe related: I got a gift card that will be spent on more tobacco.

Damn right you should be proud of what you've done...and congratulations on being the man/dad you are....you cover all the bases with your kids and that is what counts the most in any family...so to the others in your family that give you more than a headache...tell them to ____ off and I'll call you, don't call me.

Didn't get anything pipe related but, one of my boys brought me back a couple of surprises from Edinburgh and Dublin. First I got a bottle of limited production of Scotch. It is a bottle of Cadenhead Small Batch, single malt. It is 11 years old when bottled. The second is a Flat Cap from Guinness brewery in Dublin. I know the flat cap isn't nothing compared to the Scotch but to me it is a treasure. Oh, yes these was one other thing I was able to have a jigger of a Jameson Whiskey only sold in Ireland with my boys.

While were talking Christmas presents, I just want to give a quick shout to desolbones. Thanks for the opportunity to get the Frog on the Bayou, Greg. My son was beyond excited about it. It made his (and my) Christmas morning.

For my holiday, Hanukkah I received β nada...nothing....not even a cookie β from any of my grandchildren. The parents should have made sure to remind them. Yeah, that's just not right, Ted. Sorry to hear it.

Sorry to hear it. Likewise...it is a real bummer to feel like you are forgotten...especially when you have done much for them. But, if it is any consolation to you, Ted....we love ya....and I'm serious...you are a special person on this forum...like Martin (Dramatwist)...you are one of the main characters in this play of life that we live in.

Some real nice pipes fellas!
Bought myself two Petes. I'll post em when I get the second one. Also, not really christmas, but close enough- My Army bud who visited a week ago gave me a really cool 12 pipe stand. His dog ate his two pipes and he wasn't really into the hobby anyway. haha Also, I made my own ashtray. I had an old black tin I found on sale after Halloween for a couple bucks. I stuck an adhesive cork knocker in the center and it's great, cause when you put the lid on, it keeps the den from smelling like an ashtray! Great idea if you're like me and don't feel like emptying the ashtray every few smokes to avoid the stink.
And Kudos on the Bradshaw jersey, Dino! Case looks great.

Sorry to hear it. Thanks for understanding Randy. I was not feeling well today so my daughter picked up her Mom and I did not go to my sonβs. However, I made sure all 5 of my grandchildren received their gift from grandpa. So far only one text, from one grandchild thanking me. Time will tell. Hope you and your family had a wonderful Christmas π

From Darby O'Gill?! One of the best movies ever. I saw it at the Garden Oaks Theater the week it was released.

I didn't get anything pipe related as I have bought $100 worth of tobacco and $200 worth of pipes in the last month. BUT! My wife did get me two vintage, Native American made sterling silver bolo ties that I have been pining for.
