How Do

Many may know of me and most don't know me. I've belonged to many a pipe forum etc. (but, not always the same name) some I'm very active on some not so much depending on how I'm received and what sort of talk is carried on there. I'm a retired truck driver/hermit in his 60's that has had many hobbies from collecting and restoring antiques of all sorts to pipes and the smoking of them. I have been playing around off and on making pipes for some time now attempting to make something that I deem as perfect, haven't gotten there yet. I'm set in my ways and rarely have anyone change my mind on my views of life. I can be cantankerous but, wish not to and only wish to get along with everyone. Well, almost everyone anyway. My rule is, "don't step on my toes and I won't yours" Like anyone I have my opinions sometimes mores so then others. My humor is most always smart arse but, not intended to be taken offensively. We don't do subtle, I believe it's only a form of lying, so I'll always be straight forward but, not to intentionally try and hurt someone. If I like something I'll tell ya, if I don't I probably won't say anything depending on the subject.
I like to talk about pipes and see others collections or newly acquired ones and believe it or not I enjoy helping people when I can even thought off screen I stay as far away from people in general as I can. Maybe I've said too much already, it doesn't matter because the people whom see me for what I truly am understand all the rest.
I always try to be a good person and I'm a man of his word. So now that you know a little about me I hope you'll enjoy my stay here as I hope I do.
