Just joined the group and wanted to say hello. Hope to learn and share much. Starting to feel like fall here, which means more pipe smoking for me. I tend to slow down in the summer months, smoking less pipe and more cigar. Do any of you do that?

G' morning sir , "from the east of the pond" , I tend to be indoors more in our cold often icy & snowy winters so smoke the briar more in the snug warm hearth & home , in the summertime I try be more active on walkabouts & manual workabouts in garden & around & I do smoke less, enjoy the friendliest forum on the planet, friends & all. Hi, Don. I smoke a box of Camacho Corojo's a week plus other sticks in addition to my 4 bowls a day. You're in good company here so visit often and feel free to opine.

Thanks guys. Looking forward to the friendly exchange of information. I enjoy reading tobacco reviews and seeing some of the pipes people are smoking. I have quite a few estate pipes and 7-8 customs.

Welcome Don. I always seem to smoke more cigars than pipe in the summer too. I don't really know why, guess it's more of a hectic pace than when I'm snowed in.

I do better with cigars when doing active yard and garden work. Easier for me to deal with.

Also forgot to mention, check out the chat in the evenings. Usually a decent crowd around 9 or 10 EST. You will see the Chat link up at the top in the navigation bar.
