Anyone have an idea where a couple of us could get in a couple of bowls, but not outdoors in the winter? Peretti's used to be a go-to, but they no longer allow smoking in the store. Cigarmasters was pretty nice, but they've been gone for 2 years. Daughter's place in Bay Village is being leased out, so that's not available.

I think the only smoking lounge in the city is Stanza Dei Sigari on Hanover St. Outside the city there’s S&A Cigars and Cigar & Lounge. And of course New Hampshire. They’ve got a cigar lounge in every town near the state line.

Also, hey Les! If you’ll be around on 1/8 there’s a pipe club meeting.

Yo sto - thanks for that info. I've tried to coordinate B'town visits with the Sherlock Holmes PC meetings, but once again will miss it.

Does Boston still have smoking hotel rooms? I'll be there for the Dead & Company show this summer.

Apparently it does. I've just been noticing more and more hotels are totally "non-smoking". I wonder what they did with the rooms where smoking went on for decades before the city/town/hotel made this decision. Some kind of specialised cleaning process, no doubt. Nobody thinks about this kind of thing but weirdos like me ;D

If the cigar lounge is the place I remember, be prepared to pay a premium and mob up 😁.
