Most of the action is late in the evening. There is a semi-regular bunch there and new chatters are welcome; I know because I’m relatively new to the chat.
The purpose, I guess, is just a faster paced conversation than the regular forum format. Give it a try.

What is the interest and purpose of this thing. Just wondering Interest=slim purpose=personal chat among friends This is my .02. I should clarify that...I'm not up late enough to be on it when there are actual folks there. I'm old and need my sleep such that it is. |

Usually end of the day. Just me any my pipe. I have a nice bowl going, but a little conversation would be nice. So log into the chat room and have some company til time for bed.  |

When I was in hospital the other day I popped into the chat room. As kxg stated, it's pretty much like the forum, but the responses are instantaneous (kinda). So there's ongoing discussion between members about different stuff and you can chip in too. At times I found it a bit had to keep track of some conversations when trying to do other things (nurses and doctors kept getting in the way). |

a regular ever since Sparks founded same. Lately, with wife's health issues, can't get in as early as I can. Always to me, good time both on & off topics

Your .02 because of your age and experience is worth at least a $1. As to your need for sleep I’d say you’re more in need of a beauty rest.  We we will be heading home in the morning. I’m pretty sure I don’t want any more vacations. All I need is my recliner, wife, cat, pipe, tobacco, iced tea, my forum friends, and to be allowed some peace and quiet. I’ll give you a call when we get back and unpacked. AJ |
