I saw this in an Antique mall here today...Doc Grabow Duke...but it comes with a uranium ashtray. There was a nice lightly smoked lattice Meer billiard in another booth for $15 that I may return for though.

Two nice pipes Lady M, great find👍 I have that exact old “ Viking “ pipe. Was a BIG court battle back in the day between Grabow and Falcon due to patent infringement rights. That stem and center draft tube is removable on one piece on mine, some are removable. You might need to soak it a while. Enjoy for many years to come!!

If that Falcon only says Falcon on it it was made pre 1968 in the USA. From the pic it looks like a standard. Fyi the bit does not come off the stem. I have a couple of these Falcons. I use pipe cleaners and alcohol ot clean the stem. New bowls run between $25.00 - $40.00 depending where and the style.
@lonecoyote, I also have an vintage Viking made between 1954 & 1956. Looks close to the Falcon.

When I first purchased mine it took a few days of soaking so I was able to remove. However, some are not removable, so definitely don’t force it.

Nice find, Lady Margaret. I hope they clean up well for you. My falcon also doesn't come apart at the stem.

Lady Margaret Hey Maggie, that's a couple of great finds in the Antique shop. It shouldn't take too much effort to bring them back around once again. Especially the Willard. Post some pix once they have new clothes

$4.00 apiece Buford T Justice might be looking for Maggie...taking advantage of poor shop owners!

That Willard should be a fine smoker...looks like someone before you enjoyed it for quite awhile.

lol! thank you very much. I was quite pleased. Never heard of Willard before but I liked the little leaves carved on it. There was another pipe that said Nob Hill, but never heard of those either. The Falcon does seem to be rather old, but the bowl is in great shape.

Nice finds at a great price. I have some Willards and one each Falcon, Viking, Cool Smoke and just a look alike pipe that just has on it Nylon. Guess I'll have to dig in to these and see what I have.
