Rant Alert, Rant Alert
What's up with Wal-Mart? I went into the local Wal-Mart to find a yard of material that has the American Flag on it so it could be laminated into the Socket of my new Artificial leg. Couldn't find any. As I was looking around I noticed there wasn't any material that had the emblems of the U.S. military. So whats up Wal-Mart?
So now its time to calm down with my Country Gent loaded with Chatham Manor.

I love America but, I don't see why this would be Walmart's fault. Is this type of fabric available everywhere else? Besides, when has Walmart ever been known for having what you want? Hey, I'll be the first one to bash Walmart but, if they don't have what I'm looking for (which is usually quite often) I go elsewhere. Sadly this is one of the biggest reasons I shop online, cause nobody wants to carry anything of any use anymore, just a bunch of throw away crap ya have to replace every month. And I reckon that's the way they want it so you'll keep coming back. Sometimes I think they stock what they do because no one buys it and then they won't have to restock so often.

Walmart has a good selection of food and lower prices than most other places.Other than that I buy very little there.

Wal-Mart vision centers have been pretty good to me - First class. Glasses I've obtained through the VA have been lacking, are more expensive and they don't seem to care much.
Not a ringing endorsement of Wal-Mart, just saying.

Wal-Mart has its benefits... but it's a very short list. The benefits of what they have that I like are usually outweighed by the frustration of standing in line.

It could also just be the store you were at. I live out in the country in Tennessee and when I need to do some shopping the town I go to depends on what I need. I may end up in Knoxville, or Oak Ridge, or a few other places. Each has a Walmart and each one has things the others don't carry. Don't know why it is like that but it is.
