Having some C&D Bijou in a Willard straight apple with coffee. Read the description of this blend and it says it's better after aging 10-15 years. If I had read the tin I wouldn't have gotten it. I don't have 10 to 15 years for a blend to mature.

Good morning, pipers. Here's hoping that you who are north of me manage well to keep warm and protected from the polar blast. Anyhoo, here's yours truly returning at least for once to the days when a Virginia or a VaPer were the preferred first smoke of the day. Also, this is my first time with Amphora Virginia, in the Missouri Meerschaum Diplomat 5th Avenue corn cob.

Loading up the James Upshall Lovat 'blast with Esoterica Dunbar, because it looks like it feels neglected. More java. The Dunbar was a gift from an extremely generous member of our tribe. He knows who he is.

A bowl of Sutliff Match Elizabethan, suggested by JimInks, in a small Peterson pot. Don't smoke that pipe anywhere near enough. And, JimInks was correct in his advice for me to give the Elizabethan Match a try. I'm really enjoying it

Earlier I opened a tin of GLP Union Square dated 1/27/2017. I just smoked a bowl of it in a Dunhill amber root bent rhodesian with a repair band and cumberland stem. I had forgotten how good it is!
