They look good. I did the same air channel thing on a basket pipe with a high drilling. Made a huge difference.

Lovely bit of work! Can I ask how you pulled the shanks? Hold the bowl in one hand and the shank in another. Then carefully start applying pressure in different directions (up,down,left, right). I can usually get the shank out in two to three minutes. Make sure you put a mark on the shank inside the bowl so you know where to cut it off when you get it out.🙂 |

It was pretty easy. Just superglue and leather wrap. I may do another with a different colored leather wrap for contrast. |

For another wild twist with cobs, slip over to the Milan Tobacconist web-sight, and check out their custom M.M. cob section...they're a bit pricey, but cool to look at.
