I emailed Frank Valentin to find out how he's doing since we have not seen him here in quite a while. He says he's OK but just a case of forum burnout. He says "Hi" to everyone here and we may see him back here soon.

G'Nacht folks, I was briefly acquainted with St. valentine, I follow the Bremen piper & his travels & came across King Henry the Lion's Gospel which I added to my humble collection but forgive me being too gross in my posts at times but all are welcome I hope on this Global Pipe virtual fellowship. But I hope to learn from all world cultures if I may say, the Book of Kells & the Lindisfarne Gospels can speak to other cultures but I am being a bit abtruse again for general amusement, so pardon me for going off on a tangent , particularly to our American virtual friends, gents & misses.  |

So, are we comparing Frank to a King or a Lion or both? Is he on a journey or quest to Lindisfarne? Are these "Kells" expecting him? I'm confused.

G'morning, excuse me gentlemen I was a bit absorbed by my good books, all I meant was a hand of friendship & brotherhood to fellow pipers in the EU, in Europe and the world as an " ordinary Joe " Christian" in the spirit of our common cultural & Christian heritage.
Brexit has caused apparent bad feeling in Germany & the EU. My generation were brought up under rationing in the 50's but had it easy compared to most of Europe, but my education was not Euro centered or favourable to Europe. But I love Europe & the People but do not like as a Parliamentarian the EU bureaucracy and over regulation , it goes against everythng I am as an ordinary freedom lovng Briton, but I will defend the European citizens rights having their own historical freedoms. Peace & goodwill & fellowship to all men of good will I pray by Christ. Happiness & prosperity to Britain , Europe ,the USA & the world , if I may say.
