@  posted about this place being like an ongoing conversation. It got me thinking of something which I started to write in reply, but didn't want to hijack his thread. Think of this place as a wedding... Each thread is like walking around tables at the wedding. All your friends are there (and a few grouchy uncles who are harmless but say what they think). As you walk around each table you join in part of the conversation at that table and then move on to another table and join in that conversation. Sometimes you're called back to another table (profile notifications) and other times you're taken aside for a private conversation. And there are some special people who give you gifts. And at the end of the night there are a few people who stay up to the wee hours of the morning chatting away... |

Wedding party is a good comparison. I think It's pretty sweet to have a pipe club that meets whenever you want, and you don't have to go anywhere! Just be mindful, enjoy my pipe (party) and talk to good folks!  |

I think the forum's post and thread credits can be shared between members. One should keep in mind two things about this process. If you share or trade your credits, you will have to post less and the person who acquires the credits will post more. The credits are not accumulative and accounts revert back to the allowed credit each month. So the seller and buyer must make arrangements every month. I hope this helps.😁

More like a visit to a nursing home truly a education about what it is like to grow old and share stories about bowl movements while waiting for the kids once a year visit.
