I would agree in essence. This is a friendly place, most guys are engaging. It's hard not to compare the experience here with another un-named large forum (still going strong) which I came from, where if you weren't one of the guys who'd been there a long time with thousands of posts...you were often not given many indicators of welcome into their conversations, and new posts that you started would often receive no responses from those folks. It's like an inner circle where you're not welcome, and that's just no way to build community. I share that in contrast to the core group here, as well as those who've joined more recently. Most guys appreciate the privilege of participation with others, whether old timers or newbs. Ted...I think you should post away, every day! If someone suggested you post too often...then they can just look past your posts and mind their business! Now then...back to the wedding. WHERE is the dessert table?  ? |
