My birthday is coming up and since I took my wife on a three-day shopping vacation last week for her birthday, she said I could buy a new pipe. I picked a Peterson Fermoy 80s with a vulcanite stem and no filter. The manager at my local B&M even gave me a nice discount when I told him it was my birthday pipe. Actually made it a few bucks cheaper than ordering it online.  |

Nice pipe. Like the hat too. Thanks. I retired as a Senior Chief in 1993. Was in for 21 years. Had a ENC take me under his wing and taught me the proper way to smoke a pipe in 72. |

I have two nephews in the Coast Guard. I have a lot of respect for the work they both do. Unfortunately, neither one smokes a pipe, though I have aspirations of converting them. |
