Nice little surprise on Netflix. Has anyone else seen it?

A lot of members were just talking about it. Didn't care for one of the chapters(wagon train one), but overall pretty good. My favourite was Tom Waits the prospector!

I’ve never used Netflix. Maybe I’m missing out on something worthwhile.

I rarely like contemporary movies enough to watch more than once. But I did this one.
I watched it alone one evening and was actually pretty excited to watch a 2nd time after my wife showed interest in seeing it too. I will probably enjoy it a 3rd time if/when time allows.

Really interesting on which stories people liked the most and why. Looking foward to my second viewing.

Thoroughly enjoyed the film. I thought camera shots were great especially the prospector short. The stories were quirky and enjoyable. It was very much a Coen Brothers film.

Now I didn't think much of the Tom Waits beyond the scenery. I've read whether cgi was used in the making or not. But that valley was something. All I kept thinking was the hell with gold, to wake up in a little cabin to see that everyday would be all a man needs. Maybe that had something to do with the story/movie.

Most anything made by the Coen brothers is worth watching. The Big Lebowski is one of my favorite movies.

I’ve never used Netflix. Maybe I’m missing out on something worthwhile. AJ Not really, it's gone down hill since they started making their own shows. Rarely do I find anything of acceptable caliber.

If you will it dude....
Now, The big Labowski is a movie that may be an all time top 3. I have seen it countless times and still hasn't gotten old. I try and watch it about once a year. Good on so many levels.

I enjoyed all the Coen brother's movies. Certainly "Lebowski" has memorable characters. For me, "Oh, Brother Where Art Thou" shall live forever. Just bringing that music to the forefront was an accomplishment. The Coens are great storytellers.
