It has been pretty entertaining, but should have been over with an interference call against LA that would have let NO run out the clock. Badly blown call. Overtime.

I'm not a Saints fan, but was pulling for them (over the Rams). This was the poorest reffing crew period. They made some bad calls for both sides, but they more than obvious call was the pass interference call at about the 5 yard line of the Saints, where the Rams D smacked the Saints rec'vr. Were the refs being paid $$$ or what. How could you not call that play pass interference??? Hopefully, this ref crew will get reassigned to high school refereeing...

Agreed! That was a bad missed call by far. It wasnt even a "so close and happened so fast" sort of event where one could understand missing it.
But now time too see what happens in this next game.

Refs gave it to LA with that horrible missed call on the PI. Those are hard to shrug off as a player, at any level.

Horrible non-call! I'm not a Saints fan, but they were robbed.

Even with poor eyesight I believe I could have called that one.

I just watched the non-call in slow motion. The call should have been called helmet to helmet as well. This group of officials should go back to junior high officiating!!

They need to make sure refs arent fans of Pro football but know the rules of it before hiring them.
For example, I would make a good one. I love college football but absolutely HATE professional. I could call the games without favor to any team.
I cant think of the last NFL game that I've watched more than 2 minutes of.

Will not argue that the call was blown. However, as a Viking fan I can't feel sorry for the Saints after the officiating debacle that was the 2009 NFC championship and the Saints putting a bounty on Brett Favre.

That game was stolen from the Saints by the refs. Should be the Saints and the Pats in the Super Bowl. Those refs should never work a game again.

The Saints bowed out the last 2 years on really tough plays. Seems like they’re cursed.

However, as a Viking fan I can't feel sorry for the Saints after the officiating debacle that was the 2009 NFC championship and the Saints putting a bounty on Brett Favre. Oh get off of it already! That was 10 years ago and the Saints have been punished several times for a "bounty gate" that was never really proven to exist - and which other NFL teams were also doing at the time. The NFL suspended Payton for a full year. They suspended the assistant head coach for 6 games. They suspended the GM. They took away draft picks. And when New Orleans was bidding on the 2018 Super Bowl to be part of its tri-centennial, the NFL said screw you and gave the Super Bowl to Minneapolis. I guess you won't be happy until the NFL just takes the Saints away from New Orleans and moves them to another city. Will that make you happy? And by the way, yes, I'm unhappy with how the game turned out. If that flag would have been thrown - or a flag for pass interference on the interception in OT (watch the replay, the Saints receiver was interfered with and the ball was not tipped) the Saints would have won. Neither happened because the officiating was bad and there is nothing any can do and the NFL will not make another statement on it. One thing about Brett Favre. He was hit harder in a lot more games than that one playoff game.

No, that wouldn't make me happy. The Saints have been a part of the NFL all my life and belong there. Like the Rams belong in L.A., the Chargers in SD, the Raiders in Oakland, the Cardinals in St. Louis and the Colts in Baltimore. If they ever have to move it will probably be due to rising sea levels. And, for the record, I don't hate the Saints. Only their incredibly smug coach. I guess I should have said I find it hard to feel sorry for him, not the team.

If we let Alabama fans party in the Quarter all the time and it wasn't the Rams fan that blew the call. The Rams just took advantage of the gift from the officials - four who live in the Los Angeles area, one who played for the Rams and Falcons - and won the game. No one I know are pissed at the Rams. It's the officials. By the way, the NFL moved the officials from their downtown hotel to another hotel outside of New Orleans and placed security guards around them.

I don’t watch NFL you don’t have to be a Genuis to guess as a Vet. Why I don’t. But watching the news and seeing the disputed call, it’s so clear with a Ref watching it was Helmet to Helmet and interference. I’m mad for the players , coach, and owner, life isn’t fair but this was disgusting.
