The month is almost over. Any ideas on what might make the cut even in retrospect? Or is this a dead or sometimes buried topic?

I initially thought it was a terrific endeavor, but I realized that I had so much tobacco, that I didn't want to keep purchasing new blends.

What IS this month's blend? Without digging, I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be 1792 Flake. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

PS I have not explored this BOM category to any great extent. It appears interest in the BOM is a bit spotty at best😁.

Make sure your wife knows that your chest will be extra hairy when you come back in from your first smoke of it. (I love the stuff, but it's BOLD)

I have a little bit of 1792, maybe 2 more bowls. It's good stuff and I plan on picking up a lot more whenever it comes in stock.

I didn't know there was a blend of the month thing going on. Where is it posted?

you're right. It is 1972 flake. I must crack open my tin and try it. Make sure your wife knows that your chest will be extra hairy when you come back in from your first smoke of it. (I love the stuff, but it's BOLD) I came back in my house damn near looking like a sasquatch. But seriously, this is a hard blend. A blend for those who like things dark and robust. I know its not the hardest of blends but for a person like me who likes things in life light, this stuff is hard. As Marty McFly said…… Cramptholomew hooked me up with enough of this blend to give it a good try. I haven’t finished it but I will. Its just a blend that for me is to be enjoyed every so often and sipped ever so lightly. I also learned early on that its best my coffee is a little sweet with cream added too. My usual drink while smoking a pipe is black coffee but this blend required me to change it up a bit. Despite how strong it is to me, I also find a medium happy place with this blend. To me, its got a little spice to it and sweetness too. Its tin note is quite enjoyable as well. Its hard for me to describe but there’s almost a kind manly potpourri to it. The room note I find not too bad either but its not for those not into smoke smells. My wife doesn’t mind a light smell from one of my more heavier aromatics but this stuff is a strict “oh hell no”. I’m glad to have tried it and wouldn’t mind a couple ounces in my cellar but any smoking of it will take place sparingly.

Thanks for your assessment, McWiggins. I'm still to try it. Next time I light up I must remember to crack this tin open.
