I hope this is the right place for this. I just want to thank Jiminks for his detailed tobacco reviews. I have made many choices based on his reviews. It seems that he, pipestud, and I share similar likes in tobaccos.

JimInks is one of a kind and has contributed to many a pipe-smoker's decisions. He deserves an accolade. He'll go down in history within the pipe community.

JimInks is a terrific guy. I read his reviews for a long time before having the pleasure of periodic phone conversations. His reviews are consistent and trustworthy.

I’ve been reading Inks reviews since I first even thought of picking up the pipe smoking hobby. He is the Robert Parker of pipe tobacco in my opinion (look him up).

Jim who?? .......lol. I’ve read Jim’s reviews even before I joined any pipe forum. He pulls no punches and gives his honest opinion, Pipe smokers take it from there, whether it’s a tobacco they would enjoy as well. Jim’s tobacco reviews are greatly appreciated by most pipe smokers.

"Samurai of smoke" isn't a title that should be taken lightly! Big thanks to Jim for his no nonsense, matter of fact, and accurate reviews. I also think that the star rating system is a joke, tell it like it is and let the smoker make a judgement! My wish list has made quite a turn after reading and identifying with his reviews on tobacco I've had thus far. Keep it up sensei!

I also think that the star rating system is a joke, tell it like it is and let the smoker make a judgement! My wish list has made quite a turn after reading and identifying with his reviews on tobacco I've had thus far. Keep it up sensei! is good at that... he'll tell you in his reviews when he feels like it's a fraction of the star system... 2 and 1/2, 3 and 1/2, etc... |

Saw a blend he was smoking the other night and it sounded interesting. Tracked it down and was ready to pull the trigger and saw it had a review. It was Jim's review and it wasn't good. Saved me from making that purchase.

Btw, Sparks gave me the Samurai of Smoke title. I was quite surprised and honored by that.
