So I asked this question in a few Facebook groups a few months ago and only received several unhelpful comments. I'm hoping to get some straight forward answers from the Ladies and Gentleman of the Patch.
Now I don't even know if this scent/ flavor is even possible without tasting like complete garbage. I really enjoy the scent of Pine trees, more specifically, the scent that most companies would sell as what a Christmas tree would smell like. Some of you might think that is a horrid flavor for a pipe tobacco but I'm hoping that it wouldn't taste like I just ripped branch off my Christmas tree, shoved it in my pipe, and started choo-chooing on it. But maybe there is a blend out there with that subtle room note. I've searched a few blends on Tobacco Reviews but the one that came closest is no longer in production. Any and all suggestions are much appreciated. Cheers!

I've done a quick search online. I can't think of any I've smoked that has pine in it, but here's what I've come up with.... Am I right in thinking that the one you found was Pine Grove? There's also White Dog which our own JimInks has noted pine essence. Another suggestion was, Country Squire Lowland Pine and Bothwell's Northwoods. I'm assuming you've already noticed these in your search, but on the off-chance that you haven't I hope I have helped a bit.

Legend Lover Great assistance Andre! If another member does not have any other information for Roxus, I was going to suggest to him to contact the "chat" department at Smokingpipes, or maybe the "contact" area at Pipes and Cigars to post his search question there too. They do their best to help a majority of the time. Good luck in the search

If you do find it please report back as I love the flavor of pine. Had a few IPA's that were very "Piney" and loved them. Curious how it would come through in a pipe tobacco.
One thing to note, cedar notes are often present in tobacco naturally and artificially (usually by storage). In high concentrations, to me, cedar can go towards the piney end of the spectrum. Maybe look for something with a strong cedar presence. Or, stop by a cigar show and grab some cedar pieces from leftover boxes and stuff them in a jar with some mellow pipe tobacco and see what happens.

Looks like the Lowland Pine @legend Lover mentioned is the only one actually intended to have pine, as opposed to smokers picking up piney flavors. I'll have to check that out, too! Pine Grove was an unfortunately misleading name for a slightly aromatic and not sort of generic Lat blend. If you're interested in snuff, Roxus, check out mrsnuff.com/bernard-fichtennadel-p-1331.html?currency=EUR&page=2&redirectCancelled=true&reviews_id=1762 It's wonderful stuff - like stuffing the entire spectrum of winter/Christmas/pine forest up your nose.

I've found the few Syrian latakia blends I've tried to have subtle "piney" notes. These are just suggestions of the flavor/scent that come and go though, not an actual flavoring that you could reliably count on. So I'm sure it's subjective and maybe it's just me that gets these pine hints from it. Also, there's the matter of Syrian latakia being basically extinct, but you can still find Macbaren's HH Vintage Syrian for sale.

Dank, and I like it as well. I get some of that from D'oblone d'oro.

Please do your own research on what I am about to say. Specifically the pine tree you might try.
Do you have access to fresh pine needles? If so you can probably make an infusion. Wash and dry fresh pine needles, bruise them lightly and put them in vodka (neutral spirit). Then spritz the alcohol on some tobacco and let the alcohol evaporate.

I've read that the smoke from pine is toxic, so you may need to be careful adding needles to your tobacco. What watchmaker suggested might work - I've also read that spritzing the tobacco with gin can give a pine-taste to the smoke. If you substitute the vodka in watchmaker 's suggestion with gin it might double-up on the pine essence.

Thanks for all the help everyone! I think you all gave plenty of tips to get me started in the right direction. I never thought about trying to make my own concoction to scratch my itch, but maybe if I get it right one day, I can help scratch everyone else's itch also haha. Legend Lover Pine Grove was the one that I was thinking of originally. Sounded pretty spot on for what I'm looking for.
