Believe it or not my favorite is the Belvedere. Most people would have thrown this pipe away as bad as it was. The chamber was completely blocked as well as the stem. The stem was bitten clean through the top and bottom and the pipe was black on the outside from the crud. Took a lot of work to bring it back to life and I'm trying to decide what to smoke in it first.

Grabow had some very nice sandblasts. Every one of them were blasted by Glen Murphy from 1969-1989. He also made all the TR’s (triangle shanks)

A lot of them are blasted. I have a square shank bulldog that I have to finish the stem on but haven't seen a triangle shank. Guess I'll have to try and find one. I really like Grabows because that's what my grandfather smoked and I've found they offered so many different styles there was one for any taste. What drives me nuts about estate pipes is how many are just flat out abused. There is a difference between a well smoked pipe and an abused one but it's a nice challenge for me to bring the abused back to life and smoking.

Nice job giving them a new lease on life.
All the Grabows I come across are past the point of no return...the rims are so cooked, you would have to top them into a half pipe. It is nice to see some that are salvageable.
Well done!

Nice work. I dig that Sculptura. We have similar taste in shapes, that too is my favorite of the three. I have one stored in a Rubbermaid tub. One day I need to go digging. I’ve yet to smoke a Grabow that didn’t smoke/preform like a much more expensive pipe👌👍👍

I was hooked once I found out how well the old Ajustomatics smoked. Not only do they smoke great, they had some real beauts back in the day.

Nice work sir. I love my Grabows as well. I have one or 2 in a box that need attention. That might be my daily project since I'm finally taking a day off.
