Oh man, that is a gorgeous pipe. From the comparison to a quarter, it also looks of smaller size. You did say Group 1 or 2 - that being Dunhill sizing?

I turned a bit of my McC cellar into a new pipe. 😀 A friend of mine absolutely loves FMotB. Since I have a large McC cellar and that one is a ways down my list of McC favorites, I made him a very reasonable deal on the tins and that covered 90% of the cost of this pipe that I’ve been eyeing for a while. The Pipe is a Savinelli Autograph Mignon partially blasted Fan. I really like the Autograph Mignon line. They’re Autograph pipes, but are reasonably sized with group 1 to 2 bowls. In addition to being fully hand made with hand cut stems, this line is also unfiltered. The only grades for Autograph Mignon are the finishes: fully blasted, partially blasted, and smooth. Another good thing about this line is that the price point is reasonable for the fully blasted and partially blasted finishes. This is my third Autograph Mignon and there will probably be more in the future. Oh man, that is a gorgeous pipe. From the comparison to a quarter, it also looks of smaller size. You did say Group 1 or 2 - that being Dunhill sizing? Yes, group 1 to 2 Dunhill sizing based on comparing to my two Dunhill group 1 Pipes. The bowl on this Fan is 1.3” x 0.7”.

I should also mention that with it's small size and 34 gram weight, this is the first comfortably clenchable Fan that I recall ever seeing.

Though not my first choice of shape I have to admit your pipe has a certain flair that I find intriguing.

That is a beautiful pipe. If I remember correctly Smoking pipes YouTube channel had a video on a visit to Savinelli and they explained the process of determining an "autograph" level pipe. If my mind is working right this morning , it was a good vid. You might enjoy it .

What a superb pipe. I noticed it in the 'what's in the mail' thread and I've gotta comment again. It's just stunning.
