When I click on "Recent Threads" or Forum Index" I get a list of threads. Down the left hand side is a symbol for each thread.
Most thread symbols are a manila colored partly open file folder with white pages. Some are red in color and have a red/yellow flame as though the individual files are burning.
What is the significance of the thread symbol with a flame and red in color ?

The red flame indicates this this is a 'burning' topic. In other words there are plenty of responses in this thread.
However, in the Briar Patch, sometimes that might indicate that the topic has gone off track somewhat, but they usually get back on track soon enough.

However, in the Briar Patch, sometimes that might indicate that the topic has gone off track somewhat, but they usually get back on track soon enough. Nothing like a bowl of Captain Black Grape to make pizza taste really interesting!
