My wife is making some furniture changes and I ended up with a desk.I'm not sure that I need it,but I'm sure I will find use for it.It's got drawers so I guess I could store tobacco in it.I'm trying to convince her that there's supposed to be a young secretary that comes with it..So far she's not buying it.Some remark about where I wanted my ashes scattered.Anyway I've got a desk.

Careful, you only said, "young secretary." She'll end up hiring some young buck as eye candy for herself, and make you foot the bill for "your" young secretary.

I have two desks but they've both got computers on them. The computers totally take over the desks. There's just no room for anything else. I've wanted space for knickknacks for a long time but that would require buying a much bigger desk and there would be just nowhere to put it. I keep all of my tobacco on a ledge next to my stereo equipment since I left the last flophouse. I didn't want to take the bookcase I had converted into a tobacco shelf thing because a certain person brought bedbugs with him and left them when he moved out. Oh well. "King of the road" . |
