"I have a mansion but forget the price Ain't never been there, they tell me it's nice I live in hotels, tear out the walls I have accountants, pay for it all They say I'm crazy but I have a have a good time I'm just looking for clues at the scene of the crime Life's been good to me so far My Maseratti does one-eighty-five I lost my license, now I don't drive I have a limo, ride in the back I lock the doors in case I'm attacked I'm making records, my fans they can't wait They write me letters, tell me I'm great So I got me an office, gold records on the wall Just leave a message, maybe I'll call Lucky I'm sane after all I've been through (Everybody say I'm cool, he's cool) I can't complain but sometimes I still do Life's been good to me so far I go to parties sometimes until four It's hard to leave when you can't find the door It's tough to handle this fortune and fame Everybody's so different, I haven't changed They say I'm lazy but it takes all my time (Everybody say oh yeah, oh yeah) I keep on goin' guess I'll never know why Life's been good to me so far".
Its one of those kind of days, yeah. Real good. What can I say?
Three Cohibas. Following that up with Dunhill Nightcap in the GBD New Standard 9437 Straight Pot with an ebonite stem.

Needed a short smoke to get me to lunch time, so it's D&R Two Timer Gold in a 1982 smooth straight Sasieni Ivory 105 Apple with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Have enough left for a bowl or so. A bottle of Boylan's Birch Beer made with pure cane sugar is my drink. Boylan's is good stuff. You spend a lot of time in PA, Jim? Lot of people from other states never heard of Birch Beer. I love white birch beer! (hubby is from PA, lol) Fortunately for him my Dad had taught me to chew birch bark and teaberry gum, so I was ready for it when hubby introduced me to it

RLP6 in an old cob. Just tried the 'Frank method' of packing for the first time and it was an exceptionally good smoke. Cool, remarkably dry, and great flavour till the last puff. When the pipe went out, I was surprised to find I had smoked it all to soft ash. That's my favorite method, simple but effective. All one has to do is to be careful to follow every step and fill the bowl in consistent amounts prior to the last one. Not applicable to every cut there is but benefits most of them. Still setting the corn cobs a-churning, this time with well-aged C&D Morley's Best in the MM Mark Twain corn cob (upper left).

(hubby is from PA, lol) Fortunately for him my Dad had taught me to chew birch bark and teaberry gum, so I was ready for it when hubby introduced me to it Used to love picking tea berries in the woods as a kid. The local 'tasty freeze' even had tea berry syrup for milkshakes. I'd fight a mountain lion for one of those right now.
Also loved Clark's tea berry gum as a kid. Haven't seen it in years.
