I rolled the dice on P+C's Peterson Roulette sale. For $59.95 you could pick the finish and either bent or straight, of a Peterson Dublin Edition pipe and they would send you a randomly picked pipe. I had a $20 coupon as well as a 10% birthday coupon so my price was about $35. I figured what the hell and gave it a shot. I was very pleasantly surprised when a very nice looking B11, Brandy/Vulcano sitter showed up. I've smoked it a couple of times and it is a fine smoker. A bargain for under 40 bucks, for sure!

I've never heard of that deal before. I like the sound of it. Superb pipe. I'm on their e-mail list. I think it was a 24 or 48 hr deal. I think the regular price is $80. They sent me a $20 coupon when I bought a lb of something and every year they send me a 10% coupon for my birthday. BTW, This pipe is my first Peterson and I am really digging it.

I love the B11 shape, but it appears that all the B-series shapes are going away.
I've pretty well missed my shot at ever getting a B11 spigot.

I own several Peterson’s and they all provide an enjoyable smoke. I like the shape of your pipe and believe you got a fantastic deal. Well done!

I think the B-series phaseout was in progress before the Laudisi deal.

I have heard from a reliable source that The president of the new owners is very interested bringing back some of the classic shapes, maybe on an annual basis.

Does anyone know the difference between the Dublin Ed. and the Aran? They look exactly the same to me.

Agreed they look much alike. Maybe so, though the one cgvt got looks pretty damn nice with all that swirly birdseye. Here's my Aran B11 for comparison.

Very nice.
So many great deals on the Peterson brand around thesedays.
I picked up a new and unsmoked estate Peterson 150 from a local B&M recently for less than $50.
