He didn't play a trumpet, so I never listened to him.

I loved Big Bopper. He was also a song writer, and I believe he had written songs that others made posthumous hits out of. Valens was no sloth either.

Three days earlier the "Winter Dance Party" came to the Duluth Mn. Armory. Family legend has it as the first date for a young couple. A few years later, said couple would produce the only women on the planet that would put up with my shite,my wife. On a somewhat grander scale, as legend has it, a young man was so inspired after witnessing the show he decided on a career. Robert Zimmerman.

Clarification after Don made that song that is what everybody wanted to hear so even as he introduced new music it was always compared to American Pie.

Well, at least Don is alive and doing well. Not like George Reeves aka Superman, who blew his brains out because he was stereotyped as Superman and once the series was cancelled couldnāt get another acting job. Reeves suffered from severe depression for a number of years.

That song killed Don McLean's career. That song WAS Don McClains career. That song enabled Al Yankowitz to create this parody. Which is good.

True Love Ways is fantastic! The fidelity is better than 95% of what is recorded today.
Buddy is very tough to beat!

Great actor on Hoganās Heroes, an outstanding drummer. May he Rest In Peace

Crane was playing with too many woman always a disaster waiting to happen. "get it while you can", I guess. Oh, he was getting it more than mostššš. However, Bob was caught video taping with his close friend MANY joint sexual encounters. NOW, there were many people that would have bludgeon him to death. He chose the wrong path but did not deserve to die in the manner he did. No more to be said!!
