It's always nice to have a space to retreat for smoking, tinkering and contemplating. Enjoy!

It is small. But still I managed to rebuild this 1953 Willys engine in there. Currently have a little 1963 Renault going on.

Nice! I'd love to tear a motor down and completely redo it. My dad thinks it's more important to keep the lawnmower in the small shed though.

I love where I live, but the need for a year-around (re. air conditioned) man cave is one of the few things which would make me upsize.

Looks like a spot on man cave to me. I'd have a lot of fun tinkering there (not that I have any skill, but I could hammer random stuff).

Very nice place for you to spend time with just YOU. 👌👍👍. Plenty of room for you and some of your pipes and tobacco’s. If your rebuilding a Renault engine I’d venture to say you live in Europe. Most Americans don’t remember Renault. Have fun!!!

And if you got some wrenches some patience and a manual bout anyone can.

Isn't it great to have your own spot in the world? Place where you feel comfortable...and it is your spot, and only your spot.

All you really need is a warm enough/cool enough closet sized space...anything beyond that is a bonus. Well done!

I saw the Renault sticker. Then I saw the Renault ashtray. Then I saw the engine. Anyone who rebuilds 60s Renaults probably ain't completely right in the head but is definitely a friend of mine
32hp? 0-60 in what, 37 seconds? Love it. Is it a Dauphine? One of the most cool smoking places I've ever seen.

Thanks man. The larger engine shown is one to a 1953 Willys pickup I renovated and sold. I'm a car painter.. just wanted to try something new and I got hooked on old Renaults. Simple and fun as heck.. (and crazy 😉)I got myself a 1963 r4.

I had an ash tray like that in the fifties, Dad was given it when he bought a new set of tires, he gave it to me to play with, I had it for many years but got lost in my move to the farm. Your place is outstanding, small like mine, nothing wrong with that.

Thanks for sharing this with us. keep the pictures coming. Where are located with all that snow? What model gun do you use, and what brand of paint do you spray? I use a Sata. Primers Iwata or forgot what the other primer gun is actually. Glasurit paint. Use a lot of Tikkurila products too. I could order whatever the customer wants really. But we're kinda connected to those two brands as far as regular service.
