I can now get to The Patch on my phone..Maybe you can teach an old new tricks.

Way to go Larry! The next “Old Dog” trick you need to learn is lying on your back and getting someone to scratch you belly. AJ

You have to have patience when using a smartphone, there is many days I want to throw mine out the window. They are a useful tool. Good luck.

What smart phone are you now using once again Larry? It's an old Samsung 5..New smart phones cost almost a thousand bucks The Samsung 5 is a solid Android mobile phone. I use to have the Samsung 6. Only reason I gave it up was that I was at the end of my contract with Sprint and dumped them, and released my Samsung 6 back to them... Google has been very helpful in learning "how to do" on mobile phones, pc', and laptops. If you have a pc or laptop, then you can always type into Google "how do I blah blah blah on a Samsung 5" and a number of similar answers will appear for you to review and try out...

If the powers that be are listening/reading, can you please make this accessible on Tapatalk? Would make staying in touch with the good (and questionable) people here on the Patch easier! ExChef

I'm glad it's an Android.
I'm a Samsung fan as well. I had the S4 Active until I had a bad night several years ago and attempted to throw it through a brick wall. The wall won. Then I had the s6 Active, I kept it like new for a few years and gave it to my oldest son when I upgraded to the S9+. My other son has a 5 and it's a great phone.
The "active" was great for work since it was dustproof, waterproof (submergable and even had camera settings for underwater), and shock resistant.

Killer apps on my phone make it invaluable to me. Waze being the biggest for directions, avoiding traffic, pot holes, speed traps and letting my wife I am on my way with ETA. Spotify is the other killer app. I have found more, new to me, music by making a radio station off one song I like and let it pick the rest. Tie it all up with a bow with Android Auto to autoconnect bluetooth to my car and it simple buttons for the 1 hour commute to work.
