watched the life of John Callahan, parapalegic cartoonist who shocked everyone, his sense of humor is dark, reminds me of soldiers in combat zones, nothing sacred, but also makes you aware of disabilities and how lucky we are to have mobility. Here is a sample of his work.

It has always amazed me how some people with catastrophic disabilities rise above everyone else and succeed through their power of determination and the use of what they have. They don’t focus on what they don’t have. One cannot help but admire them.

Thanks for posting this Brad! I had forgotten about Callahan and his irreverent cartoons. I thought most of them were hilarious, and loved that he lacked any political correctness that is so brain numbing today. I also used to read National Lampoon magazine quite often, another politically incorrect magazine by todays standards.
