This stuff I've introduced to many and got them off of normal "tobacco". Its a comfort of which I've allowed myself and glad I did. Subtle yet reminiscent in its sweetness like that of any less than rich sweet confectionary like myself. Subtly sweet but pure. Anyone else who's found a sort of romance in the stuff like a Hershey bar or cinnamon bagel?

I've introduced quite a few people to piping with it along with CH.

I've never tried prince Albert but I don't think we can get it in the UK.
It's not on my list as one to try if I ever take a trip to America. It's only because the list is very small due to the limitation on what I can bring back.

I think the romance is in the moment being able to be mindful of the taste and smell and feel. To grab the experience while the experience is happening. And then to wind your life around that experience.
For me it is Billy Budd Blonde, which seems to do everything I want a tobacco to do, every morning.
But also coffee. Or playing music. Or fly fishing. Its being alive to the moment. Being alive to being alive.

I'm looking forward to smoking some. I got all nostalgic and ordered a few pouches of tobacco my grandfather used to smoke. Prince Albert was one of them.

While PA is not even close to being a favorite of mine or part of the rotation, I do smoke it on occasion. It reminds me of my grandfather. He rolled his own cigarettes out of PA as far back as I can remember. I guess he must have smoked about ten of those a day. Everyone was afraid he was going to burn the house down one day, dozing off with one in his hand. When I hit the my late teens and many of my buddies were starting to smoke pot, I already new how to roll a cigarette. The skills I had picked up just watching him roll, made me an instant success. Ah, youth. Thanks grandpa, you taught me some things you probably didn't realize.

To be honest, I've never smoked PA. I think my father did, but I grew up on Tinder Box blends.

I sense a slightly higher ratio of liquorice in the new formulation I like quite a bit. Could just be the slightly fresher stock behind the flavor, but I like it quite a bit more than the older stock.

I've introduced quite a few people to piping with it along with CH. my grandpa was a Prince Albert smoker. I didnt care for the taste but recently tried Sir Walter Raleigh regular and think I found all the qualities that one appreciates about PA in that blend. I liked it so much I got a tub!

My maternal grandfather was a Prince Albert fan. That is the only pipe tobacco I ever saw him smoke, either in a cob at home or in a briar when they went out. I still smoke a bowl regularly in his memory.

You're preaching to the choir here. I smoke PA most every day and have done so for over 50 years. My grandfather and father smoked it. If thats not a good recommendation I don't know what is.

I like PA for what it is, a nice comforting smoke for myself.
