I would love to go, but am without a car. If anyone is local, (or passing through Brooklyn), and willing to drive a fellow patcher, look no further, I’m your man.! I can tell some jokes, talk politics, listen to Steely Dan, or keep my mouth shut. I bathe daily, I’m respectful and will not eat chicken wings, or use the dashboard as a footrest!

I have a room booked and I hope things work out again. I will know more next week.  Things seemed to have worked out and the "Action Pac" is ready of another 6 days on the Jersey Shore. We're planning on heading out Monday for Newark/NYC. Just have to get though Mrslax's travel enticement of 5.75hrs of Hairy Pothead, The Cursed Child Parts 1$2 on Broadway for two smoke filled nights with guys who understand an share my "Passion for Pipes". |

As a new pipe smoker I did not know this was a thing. stop by the squire on tuesday and i'll fill you in. you will want to hit the columbus show in august and the sutliff factory tour in richmond. |

Bought it back to the hotel room, cracked the sangria and ate. Now we are smoking pipes, playing dominoes and waiting about an hour before we smoke some Opus X Lanceros from 2008. If you think this would work for you, please message me. For future reference, the trip to the show itself is very easy via public transit and a short cab ride.
I've gone two years in a row by NYC subway => NJT commuter rail => cab, and it's perfectly pleasant. $2.75 for the subway, $5.25 for the NJT, $10 for a cab. It's about an hour fifteen from my home in Brooklyn.
This year I was fortunate enough to hitch a ride out to JR for the afterparty, which is a rollicking good time, but awful damn far for a cab ride.

I made it to the show this year but I am never very well equipped for "internet" things on the go, so I failed to link up with anyone from the Patch or our friendly competition over at PSD.
I met up with a lot of the New York Pipe Club crew, as well as a few people I recognised from last year's show. A good time was had by all, and I bought more stuff than I had any business buying.

Next time we should have a “check in” thread to see who is there and then try to coordinate at least one bowlful together. We stayed in the hotel as I had to get brad back to the airport in the AM so we didn’t hit JR after |
