While in Princeton NJ on a brief excursion while back in NJ visiting my parents, I went to a cigar shop “A Taste of Cuba”. Small place, good selection and a great conversation with the young many working there. On his recommendation, I went up the street go grab a cup of coffee which I enjoyed with my Padron 196 4 Anniversario Pyramide Maduro. You cannot go wrong with a Padron! Anyway, I picked up a tin of Peterson’s Sherlock Holmes and 2oz of their in-house blender’s “Rasputin”(https://www.tobaccoreviews.com/blend/10728/st-basils-tobacco-rasputin). I have to question the "in-house" blender comment now that I've found a link to it. But, it smelled heavenly! This shop gave me everything I look for in a smoke shop, good selection, good smoke, good conversation and a relaxed environment. If you are in the area, I suggest swinging by there! ExChef

I was just there a few weeks ago. It is a great place, but not much for pipe smokers. They seem to cater to cigar smokers. Not blaming them, pipe smokers are rare these days and they do have to pay the rent. They had a few tins of pipe tobacco and that’s it.

Being as I travel frequently for business, I usually do a little research on the area I'm heading to if it's the first time. I search for cigar and pipe shops, as well as cigar / pipe friendly pubs. When I go into the B&M's I usually have my traveling pipes and baccy with me. If the shop has pipe tobacco I will usually pick up some tobacco, cleaners or a pipe if one catches my fancy. If it's a cigar only shop, I will usually pick up a stick and smoke it there, if they have a lounge area. I also will usually break out one of my briars and enjoy a bowl. Have never had anyone give me any grief about smoking a pipe in their cigar lounge. (ymmv) cheers
