Sometimes I wonder if those NASCAR drivers aren’t certifiably insane? One HAS to be crazy to take such chances. It’s almost guaranteed that there are going to be serious crashes while moving at 200 MPH.

The crashes just kept on going towards the end. The green flag comes back out and then another crash.
You have to have something in you to enjoy driving something that fast. Luckily there are so many safety precautions that even in a crash they walk away with barely a bruise. We take more a chance with our life driving our cars than they do in their race cars. Wreck at 50mph and you can still die.

Never met a driver even at that level who wasn't a little unhinged.

I'm not really a NASCAR guy but I do know one of the guys that wrecked yesterday at the end. He's a pretty normal guy.
Yesterday was nuts.

Wow. For some of them, it's almost like some drivers don't want to stop even though they have no wheels. I know that's not the case, but it looks like some people just want to keep on going.
