It all started with this lovely little number that Jason(Cramptholomew) made. I had to have it from the moment I saw the pictures. I will inaugurate it in a few minutes with Sutliff Ready Rubbed Match.

Then I further fed my PAD with this Aldo Velani Nuova blasted pipe and the strange Edwards rusticated pipe. Plus a really cool tin. Picked all three of these up from the nearby antique mall.

There is one vendor who constantly refreshes his estate pipe inventory. I have bought about ten from him so far. The Velani is gorgeous. I don't know much about that make.

don I agree. That is a lovely pipe that you secured from Cramp. I love the color, stripes, birds eye, and the size. Its one that you could place in a two or three pipe roll/bag, or slip into a shirt or pants pocket with no problem. You can look at many pipes in-person or online, but once in awhile, you run into that pipe and there's electricity flowing between you and it (sounds like a love story huh). I have a few like that, love the fell, look, color, and how they burn a pipe tobacco blend. Recently, I've found a couple I'd like to have, but had to place the relationship on hold, until I can send some of the others that I have away. Once I get these sold, then I'll move forwards with the new relationship

The Cramptholomew pipe is stunning. How'd the smoke go? Is that snow in the background?

The Crampy pipe is a great smoker. Wide open draw, cool smoking and feels great in the hand. Cool little pipe sock hand sewn by Jason's mum. It seems that Ready Rubbed goes well in it. We did get a dusting of snow ladt night, Paddy. Listening to Billy Strings on a new bluetooth speaker. You guys are a bunch of enablers all the way around!

Don, thatโs a stunning pipe from Cramptholomew.......I knew it was yours๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐. Enjoy for many years of smoking pleasure.
Also as Iโve posted so many times on here....Iโm an Aldo Lover......I own over 40.....I lost count....not one of them is a bad smoker. All very reasonably priced. Aldo Velani is a fictitious name.....Aldoโs are made by the famous pipe family headed by Cesare Barontini. The maker of MANY fine Italian pipes. The mechanics on ALL had no issues๐๐๐
Don Your pipe with a stacked chamber would work well for me!!!

Glad you like the pipe, Don! It was a joy to make, and apparently a joy to smoke! Enjoy it in rude good health.

I was SO CLOSE to making an offer on that pipe. Maybe my birthday present to myself will be a Cramp Original.

When is PAD a problem? You're giving a lonely pipe a new home!
