BREAKFAST to start your day...............
As for me, two eggs over medium, cook the whites without over cooking the yolks. Home fries NY style with extra peppers and onions well done, on the crunchy side. Two slices of pumpernickel or rye bread toasted with a bit of butter and most jams or preserves. A mug of fresh brewed coffee ☕️ alongside to complete the perfect breakfast.
On some weekends I prefer an omelette, with vegetables and cheeses. Thick link sausage on the side. No potatoes or toast necessary.
That’s when I enjoyed cooking, now it’s simple breakfast biscuits with egg and sausage. Simple egg burritos with cheese, bacon or sausage. Once in a while something simple and delicious.....Jimmy Deans Meat Lovers Breakfast Bowl.......cost $2.50.....worth every penny👍👍👍

I love breakfast but it normally finds it's way to my plate in the evening.
Most of the time I only eat 1 meal a day. I can definitely tell the difference throughout the day when I eat breakfast.
My favorite is 2 eggs over easy, sausage (patty or link), and 4 pieces of lightly buttered toast. If you wanna spoil me, give me some grits or waffles with cane syrup.

Gotta have the breakfast period. I suck without it Of course, like scrooge, I do love good biscuits and gravy too. Stays with you all morning and part of the afternoon!

Rarely do my wife and I eat breakfast, only lunch and dinner. Still, breakfast food is one of our top three kinds of food and there is no way either of us could pick a favorite. Sometimes just some eggs and bacon or sausage or even better, scrapple. Pancakes of all kinds are great but waffles are the best. Potatoes in all forms are always enjoyed. Infact, eggs, meats, breads and more are all always enjoyed in any form. Just a matter of what she and I are feeling at that time. As we learn to practice a more low [very low] carb life style, many of these items are a treat from time. Of course pastries and breads had to go but even the scrapple has to be enjoyed rarely. And now I want breakfast food!

I rarely eat breakfast during the week, I have no appetite when leaving the house, I typically eat a bowl of cereal mid morning in the cab.
Having said that, it is real easy to assemble all the fixins for a breakfast burrito during the week in bulk, and throw it together on the run.
Lunch is probably the most important meal, it helps me power through the day.

Breakfast for sure, not so much as it's important but, because its my favorite. I can have it morning, noon and night and never complain. Eggs over easy, Bacon firm but, not crisp, hash browns and a stack of cakes with butter and Maple syrup. Or just about any combination there of except soft boiled or that nasty dish with holiday sauce.

Oh yes, breakfast by a mile. When i wake up i can eat the arse off a bear. Couple fried eggs, croissant and a slice of rye bread, New Jersey Pork Roll or bacon crisp, orange juice and French roast coffee made in an expresso pot. I'm no good without a huge breakfast. Then more coffee and a pipe. Sometimes a pile of French toast with PA maple syrup and sausages does the job as well (when my wife feels like making it).

...usually a one-meal-a-day kind of guy... might have a light snack in the evening... if I feel like breakfast, it's usually coffee and toast, sometimes with fruit of some kind or oatmeal...

I like a big dinner too. But my favourite breakfast would be bacon on a stack of pancakes, covered in maple syrup.
Mmmmmm

I rarely eat breakfast, at least at breakfast time. I don't eat lunch that often either. I tend to eat one larger meal in the evening. Sometimes a smaller lunch and a larger evening meal. I am a fat burner, not a sugar burner. I don't get hungry as often and I have plenty of body fat to keep me fueled when I don't eat.

Not much on breakfast anymore. Just coffee and cream. Small lunch and a decent sized dinner. All Keto so no sugars and few carbs.

I eat Breakfast most every day. Usually, eggs are involved. Side meats, sometimes. A small steak is welcome or a pork chop. Grits or fried polenta, occasionally hash browns. Left over pizza is a good breakfast but I seldom eat pizza anymore. Oat porridge is also good. Sometimes it is pancakes with jam and Devonshire Cream.

Tosh ^^^^^^^^ does that bring back memories!!!
The Brits that frequented my restaurant during breakfast hours had usually ordered something similar that you posted.
English Breakfast platter consisted of:
2 eggs sunnyside up Cold beans...........most wanted refrigerated cold beans A hash potato fritter Fried GREEN tomatoes Burnt toast.......and I mean like charcoal Always bangers ( sausages ) rarely ordered bacon or ham steak.
I remember this one British chap called me over to his table and said....” look old bean, I want and my family wants burnt black toast “!

I have trouble finding it in PA. IMO, the beans are an important part. They must be Heinz or Branston English made which are not as sweet as what we consume in the USA, as you know. I order Devonshire Cream from World Market, on line. There are many other sources.

Damn...That looks good!!!^^^^^ When we are in the mood to eat, I'll fix a green onion and cheddar cheese omelet with grits and hash brown potatoes...maybe a slice of toast and certainly coffee to top it all off. Dinner...what ever we throw together...I used to cook alot but my back says otherwise these days.

Those mushrooms look absolutely delicious. It's been many years since I sauteed them and ate em as is. Even better on top of a steak.
Not sure what tomorrows dinner will be, but it WILL have a side of shrooms.
