As most of us probably know, McClelland made quite a few blends for other companies. The English ones I know of are Nording Fox Hound, Butera Royal Vintage Latakia #1 and #2, Buchanan’s Wellingborough, Iwan Ries Gourmet English, Benjamin Hartwell Chesdin, and Castro Brothers Lord Baltimore. There are probably others.
I've tried the first and third, and the Fox Hound seems very much like Frog on the Town. RV #2 is less sweet and frog-like, and more similar to something like 3 Oaks original, maybe.
Has anyone tried these or know of others? I suspect they were mostly re-packagings of other McC blends, but it would be good to know more about them.

IWC Kings Oriental and don’t forget Peretti Cambridge Flake. Didn't know about King's, but reviews make it sound frog-like OTT considering the Oriental. Good one on the Cambridge - I forgot about that.

There are a host of blends, especially B&M offerings that used McClelland tobaccos, which have been changed or removed from circulation. Though a VaPer (Peretti lists it as an English), one blend that I enjoyed was reviewed by JimInks recently, Peretti's Park Square, where Jim noted a major change in flavor. thebriarpatchforum.com/thread/6013/jims-revised-perettis-square-reviewThis was one of my favorite Peretti blends.

Ashton Revival tins, numerous small tobaconists across the nation’s tinned blends, McCranie’s. McClelland made a bunch of tinned blends for different tobacconists. I just picked up a 1998 tin at NASPC this year of a VaPer made for UPtown’s Smoke Shop: The Banquet blend. “An even-bodied Perique mixture.” Reminds me I need to get to a tin of Butera’s Royal Vintage Golden Cake, but it’s just one of hundreds I’d like to open, among hundreds already opened!
