Son just buried one of his Weiner dogs Jack was old but feisty, Bo,his buddy will be lost. We took care of his 4 dogs for his move to Dayton Texas, we had Pmon, Sons Great Dane , Ollie a Heinz 57 and the Weiner twins, Jack loved my wife, burying his nose under her on sofa. Pmon love Groot the Great Dane. My son told me he’s gonna kill whatever killed Jack this weekend. He’s an ex pathfinder, he’s got the latest in weapontry night vision, thermal imaging, and I could tell he’s very pissed. Me, I’m sad I like Jack he was old and crusty like me.!

Sorry to hear that Oldcajun. Was the dog killed by a wild animal?

Son believes it was a Bobcat, he’s got woods on both sides of his house, he told me he’s gonna lay up in the woods over the weekend.

Brad, I'm not sure a bobcat could take down a Weiner, even an old one. The only bobcats I've ever seen were trying to get away from me as fast as they could. Loss of a loved pet is absolutely horrible and makes one crazy for a few days. Hope your son keeps a level head and gets through the tragedy in good order.

Sorry to hear the news, Bradley. It's never easy to do this. A member of the family has been taken away.

Man that stinks. I had a mini Dachshund named Moose when I was younger. If your son's dog had as much personality as Moose had then I know that he will be sorely missed.
Sorry to hear about this.

Sorry for the loss of your Sons dog, for a lot of us, pets are part of the family, and when you lose one, it hurts... I used to have a dachshund, and she was something else, I miss her.

I sympathize. I'm crushed whenever I loose a dog. They just don't live long enough, even without a predator making it worse. I'm always hunting coyote and bobcat on my property to make sure my dogs are safe.

Hate to hear that. Dogs and cats are family. A red tailed hawk got one of my cats last Summer.

Bummer, I had two dogs come out of nowhere and killed my cat 2 years ago, and I could not do a damn thing about it, just had to watch it.
