...my wife (at the time) and I decided one evening we'd take the train up to Harlem and have a drink and listen to music at The Cotton Club. This was way before the movie.
Well. You can imagine.
We had our drinks. I don't remember what they were. I do remember that we were the only caucasian people there.
It was interesting to me, to be on the other side of the coin for once.
