You folks know who Mark Hamill is, right? "Luke Skywalker" from the "Star Wars" films.
Well, we had a costume fitting scheduled, and he came into my office at the appointed time.
Luke Skywalker?
Damn!
So, he shows up. The fitters were busy with a previous client, and he had to wait. In my office.
Luke Skywalker!
I play it cool. I offer him snacks and beverages. He declines. We just started to talk...
...he had had a lousy cab ride, and was really pissed off... I listened to him, nodded my head at appropriate moments and did the best I could to calm him down...
...by the time he made it into the fitting room, he was feeling OK... when he left, he remarked to one of the fitters... "That guy in the front office is cool..."

Knowing the answer I was trying to build up folk's anticipation of the yet to be answered second question. You see I believe as others do, that an executive bathroom key would be nice to have on hand, especially after a long day of posting.😁 |

Ok Martin was Mary the coolest or did someone else stand out more. Mary was exactly like she seemed on television. Kind, thoughtful, polite... she was probably the nicest person I've ever known. |

I have heard rumors that Dick Van Dyke was intoxicated on the show most of the time. Is there any truth to that you know of.
