Well I finally made it into the commercial part of the electrician industry. I'm headed out now to take a drug test I just wish it wasn't 6 degrees out there

Just sent you a pint of pee in a Chinese soup container. Just keep it warm in that thermal 12 volt warmer on the way to your doctor or Lab. My last test consisted of a NEW strip on the side of the small container that you MUST hand to a tech that waits outside the door. She told me “ don’t run the water or flush the toilet before handing me your urine sample. “. I told her it would be a lot easier if she came in with me......I found it hilarious.......she didn’t. It’s Duke’s new policy if your taking any pain meds.

I am subject to random drug tests since 1980 something.... it often doesn’t seem so random.
One time I snuck a small can of treetop Apple juice in the restroom, poured it in the specimen cup, came out sipping it and told the nurse it tasted a bit salty.
Can’t do that now... operations manager hands me the kit and it has a specific code to the paperwork.... they always tell me right after I use the restroom... two hour paid break.

Congratulations on the new chapter... I saw a large Klein toolbox in a pickup earlier today... looked like a Knaack box, immediately though of you. I deliver to a fair amount of electrical supply houses out here, I noticed that they never post the price on Klein tools...  Most of them have popcorn machines and soda fountains to entice the electricians to spend the bosses money there. |

Took a drug test once and tested positive for opiates. The manager was perplexed, cuz he knew full well I didn't do drugs. Scheduled a retake. 3 days later, before the retake, I had a massive kidney stone attack. Turns out kidney stones show positive for opiates.

 At my end of my Exxon career I was called for a drug test, I had a job that we were subject to random drug tests. It was called a critical job After 2 months straight of being selected I asked my boss What is this 💩. He swore it was random. I told him if I’m selected aagain next month I’m gonna go to the Divison Manager , put a jug on his desk and pee right in front of him. He didn’t know if I was joking or not, Retired without another drug test.

I worked with a guy who would talk all the time about how he loved to smoke weed. Everything was always about getting high.
He would get tested every month, sometimes more often, and every time he would pass. This went on for years.
I think he did it just to get out of work.

The first drug test I took was pretty hard it took years to find some of those on the list. The second thru the to many I would just say you picked the wrong decade.
