Here are some shots of my Wally Frank Storm King which I believe is from the 1950's. I picked this up a while back and just sent it out to to be fully restored. It's an odd ball pipe for sure! imgur.com/ZWbavdR

Interesting piece. I'd like to see more pictures of it if you have them.

Iām somewhat of a Wally Frank collector, very nice Storm King you got your hands on. That pipe should look outrageous once restored. Enjoy for many years of smoking pleasure ššš

Wow, that's in really very nice condition. I've been keeping an eye out on eBay for quite some time.
Needs a good clean, but that's about it. Definitely the best condition I've ever seen from the design.
P.S. also the best photos of the mechanism -- folks usually twist it, and don't dissemble it. I didn't even know it could be taken apart.

Thanks, I know Wally Frank made two or three more pipes in this style. I've been keeping an eye out for them but haven't seen any as of yet. The search goes on...lol Here is a link to Pipe Hill about this pipe. That's a pipe I've never seen before. We need more of those in Ireland.
Thanks for sharing.

Look for the Wally Frank Storm king. I forgot to add that last bit but I'm sure everyone figured it out. Thanks again for all the likes and interest. sperrytops I believe the tobacco is loaded into the larger chamber then lit. It seems that you could still draw air from the stem to the large chamber to stoke the tobacco while it is opened. Once it burning close it back up and off you go. One of the photos show charing on the bottom of the bowl, but only on the right side. So I guess the previous owner who smoke it use to lite it from that side.
