I finished off my tin of 2016 Christmas Cheer while out and about today. Was planning to crack an 8 ounce bag of Esoterica Dunbar afterwards but am having second thoughts now. I've had the better part of a tin of Rattray's Hal O' the Wind in a flip top jar for over two years. I didn't particularly care for it when I initially cracked the tin but it's rather tasty now in an IMP meerschaum. Not quite sure if it's the age out of tin or the meer but it's pretty awesome at the moment. Think I'll finish it first before cracking the Dunbar. Not an all day smoke but a great one in the rotation at present. Drinking ice tea with lemon while reviewing some financial reports.

Last smoke of the evening is Germain's King Charles in a 1/2 bent KKKK Castello Sea Rock with a wooden inlaid stem. This pipe hasn't been modified in any way but the draw is wide open, too much so. King Charles is shag cut so it works fine with the heel packed tight. Good combo I enjoy but I'm not sold on Castello mechanics by any means, prefer others which are far less pricey.

G'morning folks, lunted Pop beneath the hazy full moon level in the West, puffing on more Holiday Season 2016 in the Christmas Emerald Peterson pipe. Easy morning commuters doing over 50mph in our residential 30mph zone, growl !!! Young lad in his wellingtons running with his curious Spaniel puppy, he must have got up especially early to walk his new pet pup, happy days. Bye for now.

Savinelli 140th Anniversary (thanks, John!) in my new MM bent amber stem Diplomat. It is a light, pleasant smoke with a distinct note I can't name. Will have to smoke it when hubby is here and he can probably name it. Subtle room note which means hubby shouldn't complain, lol.
