Hubby was trying to make me a new crochet hook in a size I need, but he had some acacia wood, and he had never worked it before, and he was having a hard time turning it. I really think the problem is with his chisels, they are a very cheap set and don't keep a sharp edge. My sister suggested to my brother-in-law (who is a blacksmith) that hubby could use some new chisels, so I'm hoping he gets two good handmade chisels for Christmas
But, he did get me a little something. The dish was second hand, and he felt bad about that, but I didn't care because it is beautiful and perfect! Besides, I like old things. And the novelty lighter is perfect since my travel pipe kit is in a cosmetics bag!

Hey! Neat gifts. Just don't mistake the lighter for lipstick or the other way around.
