I don't get cravings for my pipe...
However, after reading people writing about tobaccos I get the urge to try more and more tobaccos.
I want to go out and smoke some of my Elizabethan mixture, more king Charles, some royal Jersey and more...
But I don't have the time or the opportunity to do it... And that makes the craving more intense.
You guys are enablers, and I thank you for it.

Paddy, it’s okay not to have the cravings to smoke a pipe. Once you slow down a bit you can enjoy your pipe more. I enjoy smoking a pipe immensely, but it doesn’t control my life.

What *I* usually WANT my pipe for, is some solitude and the satisfaction of an interesting or comforting smoke. Sometimes I want a pot roast smoke, sometimes I want McDonald's hamburger smoke, sometimes I want a Pho smoke, sometimes I want a 15 course tasting menu smoke. I hadn't had a pipe in two days, before lunch today, and I missed it. |
