G'day ladies & gents, for newbies starting off in the hobby who are not ready to pay Dunhill prices, a good source of quality brand estate pipes is www.blueroombriars.com , also for those that want a quality pipe & are not brand snobs then sandalwood , ebony wood & plastic metal pipes of high quality engineering & design are available from China directly on www.aliexpress.com for around 10 dollars more or less including delivery , I have ordered a number & they are delivered reliably, well packaged with accessories & you can pay in dollars by card. They are usually excellent smokers.
Also Missouri Meerschaums such as corncob, maple Country gentleman & cherry & maple Mt. Ozark mini pipes are good smoking & budget priced.
Another source is Polish hardwood Mr. Brog pipes available on Amazon or EBay similarly there are good quality Ukrainian pipes, traditional & folk designs available in hardwood from Amazon & eBay at economic prices & good traditional smokers.
I find problems bidding for estate pipes on eBay it is a jungle, buyer beware.
