So a buddy brought this little gem in the shop. Note the price is on the tin at 87 cents.  Tinned sometime in the 60's and has a bit of age on it.  Tobacco was dry which is not surprising  It was an amazing smoke. No burley edge to it. It was smooth as silk and had an almond flavor to it. Burn was easy and not hot. Not often you can smoke a tin of tobacco as old as yourself. |

...an excellent tobacco...still can't understand why MacBaren discontinued it...what a shame... I never got that one either? Just a guess but my thinking would be sales of Golden Extra simply eclipsed this old timer so much they decided GE was the future and BLB was the past? |

Smoke it quickly, if not find a way to vacuum seal it, a straw into a ziplock if that is all you have... repeat each time you smoke it till it’s gone.

I have a few tins from the 70s and 80s, but not the Mac Baren London Blend! It looks like its in great shape too.
