For the past 12 years, my morning blend has been. Lane HG-2000. Never claimed it to be outstanding in anyway, but just a good solid Black & Gold blend perfectly suited to my taste buds for a first smoke. Indeed, I only liked it as a first smoke morning blend. I note this as evidence of my pledge to smoke my cellar and will now open other cellar goodies to replace it, though the next 20% off Lane sale will be tempting, I am trying to soldier through and smoke my cellar down.

Mike, that is a go-to smoke for me for the same reasons. Just not in rotation. I am promising to smoke my cellar down, too, and not to open tins until others re empty

Funny, I hear of 1Q most of all, then RLP (is that right?), but I haven't heard of other lane blends.
Keep us posted if you decide to capitalise on the 20% off offer.

Andre, 1-Q, RLP-6 and BCA are the Lane Big 3 in bulk, but there are numerous others. To post about responding to a 20% off sale would be backpedaling on my pledge.

It’s a good Lane blend, I have a few favorites, Andulo being my favorite. AJ is now hooked on Andullo as well👌👍👍 I’ve promised not to purchase any more tobacco’s online, I need to smoke more of what I’ve stored for many years. The “ only “ tobacco I’ll buy in the near future will be at the TAPS pipe show in Raleigh on April 6th.....as long as it has a few years of age on it.....at a reasonable price.....yaaaaa right!!

Interesting, as I found the blend to be a bit dull and lifeless, but I realize that we all don't have the same tastes. I smoke some blends that I am sure no one gives a rats-arse about.

Yes, Drama. Different strokes . . . . . I would also note that the particular tobacco isn't the main point.

I have some HG-2000 and like it but my favorite Lane blend is L-77. I have two pounds of it and plan on it being my camping smoke.

I picked up a few pounds for around 10-11 dollars a pd (Cigarbid no longer offers 1lb bags of Lane for some reason😁.). HG 2000 is a decent mellow aromatic. I can see using it for blending as well as serving as a stand alone smoke.

It is on the mild side, so your interpretation is not uncommon.
