I do miss Samuel Gawith Squadron Leader, Peterson Old Dublin, and Lancer's Slices. 3 of my favorite blends. Going to try Bengal Slices.

I've always enjoyed the Lancer's Slices … good stuff!
There's a jar of 2013 Squadron Leader around here too but I haven't tried it yet.

Mel, get yourself some Plum Pudding Special Reserve. It is somewhat like Bengal Slices...but so much smoother and tastier than the regular Plum Pudding which is a little like Bengal Slices...somewhat same tasting but way far superior. Just a suggestion for you to try.

Is old Dublin not readily available? I must pick some of that up in my next order. Peterson tobaccos in general don't seem to be available in the States right now. The brand was sold (KK?) and they announced through Smoking Pipes distribution would begin again in April. We'll see. |
