Well, Hendrix didn't seem too crazy about him . . . . but he came across as a good natured guy who gave his niche market what they liked. RIP Mr. Dale

Dick Dale, pioneer of surf rock died. Many were influenced by his music and style (The Ventures, The Shadows, Man or Astroman?, Pixies, to name a few). RIP.

I worked overtime today with a Co-worker that is a certified Dale-oholic..he is a San Diego surfer guy that is planning to retire in Hawaii, so he can ride the waves as long as he can...he seemed off his game today, now I think I know why.
